### Reflection: About my Maths Learning in Term 1

It's been 10 weeks that we are in this Maths Classroom... we have covered 3 topics... we have tried a range of learning activities...

Let's recall and reflect ...
1. Share one or more things that you like about the Maths lessons, and you hope to continue seeing it happening in Term 2?
2. What are your challenges when learning the concepts and mastering the skills in Chapter 1 & Chapter 2?
3. Name one or more things that would help you learn better.

1. 1) Share one or more things that you like about the Maths lessons, and you hope to continue seeing it happening in Term 2?

Ans: i like the way the math teacher teaches as he made math lessons interesting yet able to implant the theories inside our heads

2) What are your challenges when learning the concepts and mastering the skills in Chapter 1 & Chapter 2?

Ans: I found learning estimating and approximation as I do not understand the significant difference between them but now i understand it better as I had more practice on it and the videos posted on the math blog was very useful

2. 1. Math lessons are interesting and we get to do cool math stuff on the computer.
2. I didn't understand some of the concepts in the math. Like the approximation, estimation, the squares and cubes.
3. More cool maths tricks and some simple videos.

3. 1) Math lessons are fun and interesting and we can use our LD/Mac/Computer to do math stuff like the crystal ball mind reading

2) Some of the concepts were not easy for me to grasp because they required lot sof complicated number statements and equations

3) More videos and math sites

4. 1) Share one or more things that you like about the Maths lessons, and you hope to continue seeing it happening in Term 2?

Ans: i like the way the math teacher teaches as he made math lessons interesting yet able to implant the theories inside our heads. I also like the way he sometimes tell jokes to help us de-stress a bit.

2) What are your challenges when learning the concepts and mastering the skills in Chapter 1 & Chapter 2?

Ans: I found learning estimating and approximation as I do not understand the significant difference between them but now i understand it better as I had more practice on it and the videos posted on the math blog was very useful. I found that sometimes, when the teacher goes through the Math Worksheets, it made me clarify my misunderstandings

Ans: more informative videos and more examples on the concept and maybe do mindmaps

5. 1. I like it that the class is very fun and also quite exciting when we have a fun teacher and fun teaching methods. The videos that the teacher posted were easy to understand.
2. Sometimes the teacher went to fast and I did not understand some things. Some of the problems were also very difficult to learn.
3. Maybe more examples and things to make us understand the concept of the math question.

6. I like the funny videos about Math and the crystal ball reading things. I think Math has got too many numbers and I'm very confused. I think I will learn better if there were more hands on acitivities.

7. 1. Share one or more things that you like about the Maths lessons, and you hope to continue seeing it happening in Term 2?

I like the jokes during lessons as it helps to keep us interested in the lesson. I hope to get more videos related to the lessons.

2. What are your challenges when learning the concepts and mastering the skills in Chapter 1 & Chapter 2?

When we come into a brand new chapter, we might get confused and we will miss out some of the points when the teacher teaches while trying to figure out the points that we do not understand.

3. Name one or more things that would help you learn better.

videos, activities like those on the blog and interesting lesson :D

8. 1) Maths lesson is sometimes fun due to some jokes craked during class and teacher not only just teach maths he also teaches us other important things in our life.

2)My challenge is that I may get mixed up by all different type of numbers such as integers/rational/natrural numbers

3)Hope the worksheets given will have more interesting questions.

9. 1) Maths lessons are lively and interesting and i hope to see it continuing in Term 2.

2) Sometimes, the questions are structured unclearly, causing me to have difficulty in answering it and reduce my mastery level progress.

3)I hope the questions will be slightly more challenging yet easier to understand.

10. 1. Maths lessons are funny with a lot of stories that implant great values into us. And that I wish to see continue.
2. The greatest challenge I faced was on HCF and LCM as I do not know which method is to be used for either one of them.
3. I hope the challenges will be more on explaining to us what topic it is talking about.

11. Math is very intriguing and seeing how it can be used to perform tricks that amazes people such as the 7 up trick and the crystal ball trick.

I had slight problems in understanding the question as they were not structured clearly.

12. 1. The things that I like is the jokes that the teacher tell and the way he teaches. He's very cool!

2. The significant figures are a little bit complicated.

3.More interesting and exciting questions and better explanations of topics.

13. Share one or more things that you like about the Maths lessons, and you hope to continue seeing it happening in Term 2?
Ans: I like the interesting stories that the teachers tells that relates to the topics that teaches.

What are your challenges when learning the concepts and mastering the skills in Chapter 1 & Chapter 2?
Ans: I do not fully understand the concepts sometimes but taking notes make it easier to understand.

Ans: More examples for us to better understand the topics.

14. Share one or more things that you like about the Maths lessons, and you hope to continue seeing it happening in Term 2?
1 thing is Mr Johari's jokes and inspirational stories.
What are your challenges when learning the concepts and mastering the skills in Chapter 1 & Chapter 2?
The challenges are understanding and knowing the key words and methods.
